Christianity is religion-less. It is not synonymous with church; it is so much more than an institution or any one grouping of people organized around particular doctrines or styles of worship. Rather, Christianity is a spiritual practice rooted in ancient sacred texts kept alive by communities of practice across time and space.
subversivepreacher.org is committed to sharing ideas, insights, and practice for those seeking to build or sustain an authentic spiritual community – whether within an existing church or an unaffiliated and non-institutional, more religion-less domain.

As is always the case when I read something you write, I was moved and sent to a place to be silent and reflect on your words.
Thanks for this one Cam….truly hit home
Marvelous. Inspiring. Necessary.
Thanks Cam! I needed some perspective enhancement today and you’ve come through.
Much needed and meaning much, I will hold on to this for a while, a good long while
Hi Cam – I greatly appreciate and find comfort with this writing.
Thank you brother for explaining both why I stayed away from my “church” so many times in my life, and yet why I never have stopped searching for it. Today you are preaching to my community, and it is not a community of one alone.
Whatever your spiritual practice is, and whomever you practice with, remember, you are not alone.

Awesome as always Cam!
Thank you, friend.
Oh great, I was thinking this morning about inquiring about how to find more of your writing#!!
That’s music to my ears, Candy. Thanks.
Far OUT! Love it. So happy to be connected.
Thanks!
Intriguing.

Cam thanks for this link. Am struggling right now at this point in my life (age 62). Struggling with relationships with my kids. Struggling with PTSD and it’s devastating effects. I’m working as a Case Manager here in Muncie advocating for families with children. Families who are homeless and need housing and case management so they can be successful in transitioning to affordable, sustainable housing.
At times this can be a conflict of needs but the social worker in me always prevails.
Thank you for the link to spiritual support! Best wishes for 2015.
Thank you Susan. What you are doing is beautiful and exhausting love – I hope you have the arms of a community to give you strength and healing. Cam

We have a peace organization at the following link iccpsew.com (International Committee for Creating a Peaceful Sublime and Energetic World). Would you please mention our site on your website? Thank you very much for your cooperation.?
Part of our manuscript:
We are going to submit a practical way to create a peaceful sublime and energetic world. We can create the world that a destitute and an affluent human being, Black and White, Hebrew and Moslem, the different religions, the different devisal live without an affray and an embroilment together. We can go to the direction that human beings live with the wonderful pacification in every place of the world. This is our desire to find a practical way that human beings love each other. We should not submit a practical way for one human being, or the special sects, or the special religions, or the special societies, or the special cultures. The practical way should cover all of human beings in every place of the world.
